Dr. Ivo Pezzuto is an internationally recognized author of papers, book chapters and books, articles, and journal publications on economics. He has been an executive of global banks, strategy consulting firms and leading firms in the financial service industry. His areas of expertise include: global economics, strategic management, corporate governance, global competitiveness, market regulation, firms’ internationalization, scenario planning and predictive analytics.
He is the author of the book “Predictable and Avoidable: Repairing Economic Dislocation and Preventing the Recurrence of Crisis” published by Routledge.
Dr. Pezzuto is a regular contributor and commentator for major international broadcasting networks such as CNBC, RAI, The Global Analyst Magazine, Bloomberg, BBC Radio, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barron’s, and US News & World Report.
He teaches at the ISTUD Business School since 2004, as well as at the Catholic University of Milan and at the International School of Management in Paris and he is member of the Editorial Board and Scientific Committee of several international academic Journals and Global Conferences on Business and Economics.
He has earned a bachelor (BS) in Business administration from the Stern School of Business in New York, an MBA and a Master Degree from SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy, a Doctoral degree in Business Administration in Switzerland (Zurich), and has attended several Executive Development Programs and Faculty Training Programs in Italy (ISTUD; CFMT/Bocconi) and abroad (Accenture Center for Professional Education, Chicago; Harvard Business School, Boston). Ivo is a native Italian speaker and he is fluent in English.
